She Rescue Home

Although Operation HOPE has a number of our own projects and initiatives designed to help others in need, we also love to partner with other groups and individuals, both locally and internationally, to help make a difference. A couple of months ago, we received an email from a young lady named Renee Ramirez who was preparing a trip to Cambodia to work with the She Rescue Home there. She asked if we would be able to donate any supplies for her to give to the ladies at She Rescue and we were very grateful for the opportunity to help out.

Below is a quick letter from Renee about the trip:

Operation Hope,

Thank you so much for your generous donation of supplies to the She Rescue Home in Cambodia. She Rescue opens their doors to girls between ages 7 and 19 who have been rescued from human trafficking or are at risk of being trafficked into the sex trade. When traveling to work with the She Rescue Home we were asked to bring items that they were desperately needing. These items included toothbrushes and toothpaste, hygiene products such as shampoo, soap, and deodorant. They were in need of first aid items such as alcohol wipes, bandages, and cotton balls, as well as small hand towels, gloves, and women's clothing. Operation Hope was more than willing to open their storeroom and fill TWO suitcases full of these items to be taken. The staff and girls at She Rescue were so excited to see God meet their needs, especially realizing that people who did not even know them were willing to share what they had with them. One of young girls said, "God uses angels with Operation Hope to help us." We could not have said it any better!
It was a blessing to work the girls in the home, teaching them crafts, playing games with them, and loving them.

Thank you again for your generous giving. It is a blessing and encouragement as a local missionary to know I have the continual support of Operation Hope as I partner with She Rescue Home and the fight against human trafficking.
