Paul's Project
In September, Operation H.O.P.E. will be partnering with Breedlove Foods to build tiny houses for Paul’s Project Grace Campus. We are so excited to be a part of helping Paul’s Project which provides temporary shelter for the local homeless. Paul’s Project is an organization that focuses on the homeless community here in Lubbock and Grace Campus exists to provide homeless individuals hope and a renewed sense of purpose in an environment that encourages community and authentic change. The goal is to come alongside these individuals helping them to realize their potential and ability to live an independent life that positively contributes to society. The individuals taken in at Grace Campus are typically in survival mode and working on gaining the most basic human needs: food and shelter. Each individual is met with one-on-one to establish a personalized plan to help them gain their independence. Currently, there are 90 residents living at the campus in 45 tents.
The tents have become weathered and need to be replaced. For approximately the same cost, tiny houses can be built to replace the damaged tents.
